Title page + xviii + 536 pages ( infact 1073 pages as each page number is for 2 sides ). Antique vellum binding fair/good some edge nibbling to front top/side, good old hand written half title to spine. Contents mostly very good for age, with a couple of folded corner tips or corner tip loss, antique inscription to title page, minor bottom water edge staining to a few pages front, title page partly detached, fore-edge poker-work painting/ artwork i.e spine edge nicely antique decorated by a hot poker?, also a cross design top edge with initials SW. bottom edge just with initials SW. Saint Antoninus of Florence (1389 1459), was an Italian Dominican friar, who ruled as Archbishop of Florence. He is venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church. This is volume 3 only. But seems to be a very rare early edition. Apart from a couple found in institutions, could not find any other copies for sale

1675 unbound fair 17.5 x 27cm Approx 
2 + 22 pages, unbound , condition fair, some minor staining & old paper restoration/repairs. ( 1st. 2 pages un-numbered then page 67 to 88 ). States "Printed in the year 1675". Having checked online a 1st edition printed for Giles Calvert, at the Black-spread-Eagle ,London 1656 of 4 + 37 pages. This 1675 edition is complete in less pages, so can only assume this has been reprinted in 1675 complete, but as part of a collection of pamphlets or similar. But checking online can not find another copy of this 1675 edition, for sale.

2 books bound and published together with their own title pages & both dated M.D.LXVI. i.e.1566.. 139 +3 pages & 165 pages + antique manuscript page by early owner to back of last page. Later Binding looks Victorian. quarter material & mottled paper hardback. . Binding in good condition with minor edge ware, title of 1st. book (only) to spine. & has Victorian handmade end papers, Contents Good for age, most pages good, clean & tight with some minor odd staining, a very few antique Latin notes within., a very few corner tip folds. tiny hole to one page, poss. made during manufacture in 1566. Originally published together, , some have been split into 2 separate books, and now is Very Rare to find together. Johannes Hessels, was a professor at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Leuven and colleague and friend of Michael Baius, Hessels propagated a positive, biblical and patristic theology. Belgium.
