London John Nimmo 1829 
First Edition. 4 1/2" x 7 1/4" Approx. 125pages+8 at front+1 publishers ads rear. Original green/black mottled board binding, lacks spine, front detached, rear loose , but generally good with only minor rubbing at edges. Contents are good to very, very tight ,no owner inscriptions, only some additions/alterations mostly at bottom of page. NO Author is given , even on printed letter to The Literary and Philosophical Society of The University of London dated 7th Sept. 1829 that appears after title page. the British Lib. quote no author. The book states it is based from nature objects of their WORSHIP and from careful consideration of certain customs, formerly prevalent in EGYPT, CANAAN, CARTHAGE, BABYLON, PERSIA, ARABIA, "AMERICA", INDIA, GREECE, ITALY and among the Etruscans, Bonzes, Gymnosophists, Chaldeans, & c, This book mixes British Druids, Hebrews(jews)with some quotes/notes/text in Latin/Greek/Hebrew/Egyptian ect. a rare little book

Title page + xviii + 536 pages ( infact 1073 pages as each page number is for 2 sides ). Antique vellum binding fair/good some edge nibbling to front top/side, good old hand written half title to spine. Contents mostly very good for age, with a couple of folded corner tips or corner tip loss, antique inscription to title page, minor bottom water edge staining to a few pages front, title page partly detached, fore-edge poker-work painting/ artwork i.e spine edge nicely antique decorated by a hot poker?, also a cross design top edge with initials SW. bottom edge just with initials SW. Saint Antoninus of Florence (1389 – 1459), was an Italian Dominican friar, who ruled as Archbishop of Florence. He is venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church. This is volume 3 only. But seems to be a very rare early edition. Apart from a couple found in institutions, could not find any other copies for sale

Originally published together, , some have been split into 2 separate books, and now is Very Rare to find together. Johannes Hessels, was a professor at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Leuven and colleague and friend of Michael Baius, Hessels propagated a positive, biblical and patristic theology.
