Pamela Adelaide Genevieve Wyndham (1895 -1928), was with her bother George Wyndham a member of "The Souls" her 1st marriage was to Edward Priaulx Tennant,(1859-1920) 1st Baron Glenconnor in 1911), Pamela was known as Lady Glenconner, or Pamela Glenconner to friends. So a unique inscription to this short Biography / personal memories written by a close friend and published just months after George Wyndham died (29 August 1863 - 8 June 1913) .

Autobiography of Michael Burn, from Winchester, to Oxford & 1933 went to Germany to check out Socialism, met Hitler, was shown Dachau concentration camp, etc. then disenchanted returned to UK & joined The Times newspaper, joined the TA, later volunteered for the commandos, was on the raid on St Nazaire winning the MC, later he was taken prisoner, sent to Colditz. After the war had an career as a foreign correspondent, being one the only ones to become friends with Soviet journalists. And so much more.

Foulks" ( Siegfried Heinrich Foulk (1898-1976), born Siegfried Heinrich Fuchs after escaping Nazi Germany, in London was the founder of Group Analysis, a specific form of group therapy, and the Group Analytic Society, one of many books I collected from his home after his wife passed away, that came direct from the family) . First published in February 1941, this book published March 1941, so 2nd printing of 1st edition. Biography James Joyce 1882-1941. Herbert Gorman previously wrote books on the life of Joyce, James Joyce approved this biography completed in 1939, but died in Zurich on Jan 10th 1941, just before this was published later in Jan 1941, so must be the only biography published after he died that he read and approved.
