Original off-white Dust Jacket good/very good some minor dirt to edges, tiny corner tip missing & a 2 cm tear top only..Binding good, embossed gilt title & decorated front with some loss of gilt only (poss poor production)..Contents almost mint just the very rare tiny dot poss from production ( NO inscriptions etc.) 61 b/w illustraitions & 13 colour illustrations..mostly full page illustrations from A. D. Saltykov ( 1806 -59 who visited India twice ) , ,upto Finogenov, Chuikov, Nalbandyan & Ivanov etc in 1954, what little text there is is all in English.. As this book was produced during the "cold War" there would not have been many produced .
