Contents are Very good, clean & tight, no inscriptions etc. Only a couple of folded corner tips front. All printed tipped-on photographs in excelent condition. In all 31 photographs, 2 on front cover + 29 within, 25 pages, ALL pages with tipped-on photographs ( 4 pages with 2 photos to each, also one page is a foldout page with panoramic view of Winnipeg's Main Street & Portage Ave with horse/carts, early motor cars & electric trams), on the cattle ranges, Alberta, wild horses by Big Bow river, farming, City Hall Square in Winnipeg, view of Calgary from a nearby hill, Edmonton on Gala day, various of around the Rockies inc. Lake Louise & snow covered Rockies, and Glacier House and the great glacier, felling a big tree, an S. White coach & horses full of people at StanlyPark Drive Vancouver, S.S. "Princess Victoria" on a lake or wide river, also an interesting one of a large group discribed as " Types of a fast disappearing Race", (This is a large group of Red Indians), & more. Unusally the 2 photographs on the front cover are NOT duplicated inside the book ( so it's nice to see they too are in good condition, just a tiny edge tear to lower image). From a quick net check, could not find another for sale. Only 1 or 2 in institutions, But neither exactly the same as mine, seems a smaller 12x15cm book with only 16 pages was published in 1904 & a 24 page edition was published later in 1908. This edition may be the 1908 edition with an extra page, But the date inside the cover, though in small text, through an eye glass, looks much more like 1906.
